She was not taking her children to church nor was she reading them Bible stories.  She was so shocked that she had no idea what to say but she did know that he was speaking the truth.

 Isaiah prophiesed the arrival of the children when he said, “A little child shall lead them.”   Christ spoke of the qualities that enable them to enter the kingdom of heaven.  

 Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?

“And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,

“And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

“Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

God has sent children with expanded consciousness to the planet.  They will help expand our consciousness to shift into a new world where the spiritual  and spirituality as the core of our existence will be acknowledged rather than denied.

In addition, when your gifts are not acknowledged, when no one is acknowledging who you are or supporting you to develop yourself - of course you are going to be depressed!!!   Until such time as the wounding is acknowledged and healed, there will not be true, authentic evolution or progress for the child.

 Through the Eyes of a Child by Drunvalo Melchizdek in which an 18 year old Mexican woman does psychic readings on photos handed to her by members of the audience. (see Resources and Links Section – for youtube link).  It was as though a light went on inside me and activated the start of the working with my own psychic, intuitive and healing abilities as well as helping people of all ages including children and youth discover and develop their abilities.  .

 The other happened in 2004 when I watched the movie The Sixth Sense starring Bruce Willis, a psychologist  and   about a little boy Cole Sear (played by Haley Joel Osment who was 11 and who was nominated for an Oscar for his role), are at the center of the movie.   At one point in the movie after Cole has shared his secret that he sees dead people with the psychologist, he says in desperation, “You do believe me, don’t you?  If you don’t believe me, how can you help me?”  As I watched this movie at the close of 2004, 4 years after I started to work with children, many who have the gifts of seeing dead people and animals as well as many other gifts, I realized how important this work is.  My commitment to getting the teachings and messages of the children and youth into the consciousness of the mainstream population deepened.  

 There are many, many children who can see beyond our three dimensional reality into other dimensions.   They can be frightened of what they of they see.  They continue to live in fear because like Cole they fear that adults wouldn’t believe them.  Many adults would not because they have not opened themselves to the ability to perceive these other realities or they simply lack the gifts for doing so.  

The result of the lack of acknowledgement of other realities and dimensions and of the lack of affirmation of children and youth’s psychic, intuitive and healing gifts can result in clinical diagnoses of disorders such as depression, ADHD, ADD, dyslexia, autism, Asperger’s  etc.  Children, youth and adults alike become depressed and life loses meaning when we don’t recognize our own gifts and when others don’t recognize the gifts we have. 

 While some may be correctly diagnosed, not all are.   However we are not being inquisitive enough and thorough enough as scientists, parents, educators and medical professionals in  investigating the gifts that children bring when they are challenged regarding learning in traditional ways.  There are many other ways to learn, absorb and communicate information than just the spoken and written word that has been the backbone of society’s learning, communication and educational structures.  We have  either not yet addressed or barely addressed these ways of learning in our mainstream systems including families, communities, education, health and other. 

 Relatively recent developments in understanding that children and adults can be audio, visual, spatial and kinaesthetic learners is one of the first and a baby step in understanding that there are multidimensional ways of knowing and perceiving that include psychic and intuitive abilities.  To deny or not to acknowledge these is to be in the shadow of our own ignorance.  What is in the shadow always comes out to bite us.  The epidemic of so-called disorders are that shadow biting us and calling us to acknowledge the other non-material dimensions of life.  The epidemic of placing children and youth on drugs for so-called disorders to “normalize” them is also something that I believe we will look back upon as consciousness evolves and like other actions that seemed right at the time to the mainstream eg. placing native children in residential schools – we will come to deeply regret our actions – that were guided by ignorance rather than knowledge and wisdom.

The third profound moment came when the children came to me in a dream and said, “We don’t want to be drugged anymore and we need an adult voice to speak for us.”  I promised them that I would bring awareness to their situation and their needs in service of Spirit.

In 1994 on the night of my 35^th birthday I had a mystical dream that signaled a profound reawakening of my consciousness and connection to Spirit.  In that dream, I dreamed that I was light.  I was both inside the Light and outside the Light.  I was flowing with the Light.  After that evening I became conscious of God speaking to me in voice.  I have now followed that voice for over a 15 years and it has led me on an ongoing epic journey of the Spirit. 

 I changed careers and fields from being a scientist and wildlife biologist to being a management consultant and speaker on spirituality at work.    I also received guidance to do a global peace Summit called The 2001 Summit on Spirituality and Sustainability which happened in Vancouver Canada from September 15-22, 2001, just after the tragic events of September 11, 2001 in New York City.  

We never know where the spiral of life will take us.  Just when you think you are growing up the spiral of life takes you back to your baby or childhood.  Just after the mystical dream of Light that I had in 1994, my cousin recalled the night when I was 3 years old and I came down the stairs in the morning and said, “Last night I saw an angel.” They said to me, “What did the angel look like and what did you do?”  I said, “The angel was this big (indicating with my hands about a foot tall).  I looked at the angel and then I went to sleep. 

When I was a baby I never slept or so it seemed to my mother.  I know that was the time when the angels taught me about the crystals and healing.  For God has created each and every person with a destiny, sacred visions and psychic, intuitive and healing gifts to uncover.  I was born as a “healer” and a “peacemaker” even though for many, many years I would not know this.   As a child I had a deep love of nature and sent petitions to Parliament to “Save the baby seals”.   My first consciousness about healing the Earth came as a child.  I became an environmentalist after reading Rachel Carson’s book, “Silent Spring” and was doing volunteer work at Pollution Probe at the University of Toronto by the time I was 12.  

 I became a wildlife biologist with the Canadian Wildlife Service in the federal government of Canada.  During this time, I opened again to my own spiritual journey and that opening resulted in the mystical experience I had at the age of 35 that changed my life forever.    I dreamed that I was Light and that I was both inside and outside the Light.   Although I had followed my heart and intuition all of my life, I began to hear the voice of God clearly speaking to me – telling me where to go, what to do and who to speak to.  For a decade now I have learned how to follow instructions, trusting and surrendering to this small voice within that over the years got louder and louder. 

Mystical and practical experiences as a child, youth and as an adult prepared me for the recent expansion of work focusing on helping others with the development and integration of their spiritual energy in all aspects of their lives.  From working with CEOs, executives and employees in organizations on spirituality at work for the last decade as described in the book , (The Inspired Organization:  Spirituality and Energy at Work,  see www.spiritualityatwork.wordpress.com),  my work expanded to working with the spiritual wisdom of children, youth and their families on the development of psychic, intuitive and healing abilities within the context of their personal spiritual journeys.

Has the child inside of you who possesses all-knowing wisdom or who has the ability to heal or perceive things in other dimensions been acknowledged and nurtured throughout the years?  Has the child that knows these things been allowed to grow and expand into adulthood with the same kind of openness, knowledge and wisdom?   Has your knowing child brought the wisdom and truth that you know to bear in your life?  It is a blessing to be alive at this time.  It is even more of a blessing to be alive and in the process of your own and our global continually awakening consciousness.  This book is one key for the inward and outward spiral of human evolution and consciousness towards global peace.  I am blessed to work and play with the children youth and their families in Spirit.  Through their kind agreement am privileged to share our stories with you. Children have always been gifted in various ways. However children are now being born in numbers who have spiritual wisdom including psychic, intuitive and healing abilities. Some psychologists have called them the indigo children, crystal and rainbow children and say they have been arriving on this planet since the 1980s. They have grown up with computers in their homes. Their access to the technology both at home and in school has accelerated their pace of learning as well as their ability to process information. Some have grown up with parents who have themselves been conscious of spirituality, health and wellness. Thus the children bring both an environmental and social  knowledge  and consciousness unprecedented on the planet. 

The evolution of humanity is continuing in accessing and using parts of the brain that have not been stimulated or used before. Because of this, the new children have psychic abilities that previous generations knew possible but only wrote about in science fiction. The new openings and functioning of these aspects of the brain pass as a wave to the unborn so that evolutionarily we as a species never go back.

There are new children arriving on the planet in the moment you are reading this who will continue to shake us up with their behaviour first of all and secondly with the discovery of what wisdom, gifts, skills and abilities that they bring. Many are being diagnosed with ADD, ADHD and autism. What many of them are not conscious of - is that they have highly developed psychic and intuitive gifts and abilities.  They perceive and communicate in now almost forgotten traditional ways using their psychic abilities (included in this is telepathic communication).  All children are highly gifted in some area and as parents, mentors, educators, health professionals, it is incumbent upon us to be the support that each and every child needs to discover and manifest the gifts of their soul and spirit and their full potential.
